The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Office of Regulatory Science and Innovation will host presentations from the FDA-Centers of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSIs) on September 13, 2019, from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The event will be titled, "FDA-CERSI Collaborative Research: Impacts on Advancing Public Health." A draft agenda is available online.

The CERSIs play an increasingly vital role in helping FDA solve regulatory science challenges or fill knowledge gaps in areas where we have lacked the in-house resources to do so. The purpose of this session is to showcase the results and impacts of research projects in each of our four CERSIs, based on our CERSI Research Metrics (focusing on either Catalyzing Action or Informing Regulatory Decision-Making).

Following the presentations, from 12:00 p.m.– 12:45 p.m., attendees are invited to a  Mix and Mingle during the lunch hour to interact with FDA and the CERSIs. The Kiosk in the Great Room Atrium will be open for advance ordering (before 10:45 am) and purchase of lunch.

Those who plan to attend should arrive at the FDA's Great Room A by 10:15 a.m. in order to pre-order lunch. Presentations will begin promptly at 10:45 a.m. Directions, parking, and accommodation information is available online.
